Miles Davis had a collection of album work in the 70′s that will go down as the most creative, vibrant and flat out impressive of any jazz artist. Miles was a man of many styles, many forms and shades of music and was one of the few who had a connection to almost every creative community the way he did. Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix and many other musicians of the age had an integral influence on the virtuoso and he used this in the clothes he wore, the stage set ups he utilized, the sounds that came from his expanded bands and most importantly, the album cover art he would commission. Most of the pieces are from the illustrious Mati Kalrwein.
