Stereolab album cover collection | Color in Motion 214

London’s Stereolab are a highly influential band who took things into their own hands in the 90′s to cultivate a style of music that goes well beyond definition. So much to the point where the term post was attached to the already elusive and vague genre title rock for what was one of the bands being coined into this realm. Highly organic, dreamy and full of many of the electronic and acoustic shades of experimentation that I absolutely love, it’s a sound that has everything to do with the pioneers of krautrock as it does where electronic music is going. I remember hearing Emperor Tomato Ketchup for the first time in late 90′s and I have been following everything from this group ever since. Fast forward almost two decades later and we see the band taking a rest of sorts or what is most commonly known as a hiatus. We wanted to present more album art in our Color in Motion series and this is one of many posts that continues this path. This article is for DJ Nobody.

Wow, looks like I’ll be finishing off the rest of this album right now.
