Death Grips “No Love Deep Web” | Third Worlds
Sacramento, CA’s Death Grips have launched themselves into the world with a wave of energy many dream of achieving. With their first mixtape Exmilitary shocking the masses, it has become a cyclone of activity from the group as they take the world over. Nobody has ever sounded remotely close to what Death Grips are and I doubt anyone will ever come close. Zach Hill and Andy Morin are the production team behind Death Grips while Stefan “MC Ride” Burnett handles the mic. The Money Store was the first official full length from Death Grips released this year in April and it feels like the world is now fully ready for the darkest, most raw outing from the group in No Love Deep Web.
The group leaked the album themselves today via their soundcloud account and it has been on non stop all morning. This is the type of forward progression into hip hop that is only possible in this day and age. Originally scheduled to be called No Love, the group announced via Pitchfork the expansion in the title and that 13 out of 20 tracks from the sessions would be selected for the final cut. What has made the album is nothing short of amazing. This is the craziest shit I have heard in years and possibly my entire life.
