Kevin Greenspon prepares for DVD release & 3 Month USA Tour | Music News

Kevin Greenspon is a multi-instrumentalist underground artist whose works have been in my life for close to five years now. With highly textured minimal gardens of sound that fall into density filled tones of the biggest size, an immersive emotional state always drifts into the outer stretches of the universe in a Greenspon album. He is is the type of artist that would make Canadian scientist  R. Murray Schafer proud for coining that word soundscape so many years ago.

Kevin sent us news on a DVD release and 3 months worth of touring that looks to be nothing short of prolific in terms of the ground he will be covering. If you live in the States and have never heard this artist, take a chance and mark the date closest to you. Full details below.

Hi everyone,

I’m proud to announce 3 months of non-stop tourdates around the entire USA from July 28 through October 20. My live performances will feature video projections that Paul Skomsvold (Former Selves) and Matthieu Séry designed for my new Folding Focus 10-song DVD. In addition to the Folding Focus DVD, several new releases including a 7″ EP with hand-painted covers and limited tour-only cassettes will be available at the shows along with the entire Bridgetown catalog.
