Sam Most ‘Jungle Fantasy’ 1970 | B.F.T.P. Vol 318

Los Angeles flutist Sam Most innovated the possibilities of the flute inside of the vast institution of sound known as jazz. Many of his recording stand as important contributors to the body of jazz and his work with Buddy Rich in the 50′s is some of his most well known. We included one of his single releases, ‘Jungle Fantasy”, for the sheer fact that it’s incredible. If you don’t like this track, I’d have a hard time carrying a conversation with you.
