LDS: Godspeed You! Black Emperor recording from last night of Nightmare Before Christmas
The first time I ever heard Godspeed was right when they disbanded during 2000. It was the track called Moya, and I remember listening to it close to 300 times in the span of a summer. The track really did a number on me, so I went to purchase a few of their albums. These CD’s I hope to replace one day with vinyl reissues. Enough said though enjoy this beautiful recording of GYBE from December 5, 2010. Back together 10 years after the fact!! -Pouya

This year’s Nightmare Before Christmas was curated by Godspeed You!
Black Emperor. The band played all 3 days. Unfortunately I was
unable to record the first day. This is the third day.Was about 20 or 30 people in front of me in the line. Huge kudos to
Dan, Mat and Tom for putting up with me and helping make this
recording a reality. Thanks guys – you rock! GYBE were originally
scheduled to play mid afternoon, but were brought forward to be the
