Photos from the Teebs // Dmn Slyr art show at Division 9

On October 7th, 2010, Teebs and Demon Slayer revealed new works in a two person art show held in Riverside, CA at Division 9 Gallery. The exhibit will be up and running until Nov 7th. This evening was highlighted by a collaboration mural piece, designed and hand painted by Teebs and Dmn Slyr. With an array of different mediums, both artists infused their complimentary styles to form a work that is completely unique and site specific to the gallery. With new pieces in hand, both displayed a cultural cross section at this moment in their skyrocketing careers.

Teebs and Dmn Slyr are both sonic musicians / visual artists, sharing a similar aesthetic / view though their work. Teebs is releasing his first full length album on Flying Lotus’ imprint, Brainfeeder Records titled “Ardour” out on Oct 19th. Dmn Slyr has been hand selected to include his “Asteroid Shredder” track on the newly released Briefcase Rockers compilation STEALTH VOLTRON alongside notables such as Subtitle, Thavius Beck, Zackey Force Funk, Gajah, VerBS, Debmaster, Labwaste and many more.

Our resident photographers from SCV were on site to document this special event. These photos were shot on expired film, anomalies are present. Another photo set will be released in the near future. Please enjoy.
