Experience Hendrix finally released the track listing for the upcoming Box Set release they have coming forth. The tracks selected really highlight his development as a musician and his vision inside the studio. Alternate takes provide a window into how he was very willing to see his vision from as many possible angles as could be achieved. The most compelling and interesting piece to most collectors out there is the very last track, Suddenly November Morning. This comes from the Black Gold album he was starting to create and the song itself has never been heard in any form. Below we included the song New Rising Sun which is included in this set, previously only available on bootleg recordings, I am very eager to hear the mastered version. Jimi even plays drums and bass, everything is him on this gorgeous piece. This looks like a collection full of love and cosmic awakening through sound, an affirmation that Jimi was building bodies of work that would have propelled him into phases beyond imagination. The first disc presents a very nice rounded out collection of the material Jimi was involved with before he formed he Experience. The chittlin circuit gave Hendrix the opportunity to really understand what it took to tour, grind and not work for much but still survive long enough to be discovered. There is going to be many releases in the Jimi Hendrix catalogue that will continue to open the window of creativity that expanded out of Hendrix.
